Quad Cities

The U.S. Navy is sailing into Iowa’s Quad Cities for the fourth time as part of the Navy Week program, the Navy’s premier outreach program. Navy Week is July 24-30 in conjunction with the Quad Cities Air Show, headlined by the Navy’s flight demonstration squadron – the Blue Angels.

Navy Week will feature more than 75 unique outreach events throughout the community including:
-          Free public concerts by Navy Band Great Lakes
-          Youth and educational engagements with USS Constitution, the Navy’s oldest commissioned warship
-          Public events featuring the area’s namesake vessels, USS The Sullivans (DDG 68) and USS Sioux City (LCS 11)
-          Daily appearances on morning network news, and each afternoon on Living Local
